Jean Paul Goude, untamed imagination
Jean Paul Goude, born in Paris, is considered as one of the most imaginative visual pioneer. Having been the art director for fashion magazine Esquire was a precious experience. His legendary cooperation with Grace Jones created the fascinating photographs. The untamed spirit and power are saturated in the plushy colored work.
Graphic designer, photographer, film director, Jean Paul Goude gives a world of imagination and virtual feast.

“I regularly ask myself about the status of my work and the classification of what I do, how relevant is my work, and does it correspond to the life of an artist-even as I conceived it? Is it art or something else? I still don’t know if I’ll ever find an answer.”--Jean Paul Goude

Helmut Newton
Different from Richard’s ladies with the glamorous gentilesse, femininity in Helmut Newton’s photo means powerful, direct seduction and feminist.

Give me glamour or give me strength, if zz has to choose the favorite fashion photographer, she can't decide between -Richard Avedon and Helmut Newton.
The fluid movement, the saltating dress, flying hair and the extreme femininity, Richard Avedon is able to freeze the moment of glamour to an eternity. We feel have to hold the breath in case wake up the sleeping beauty or not say anything to break the spell of power Avedon who can stop the time.

I am invisible, ignore me
The world is too crowded, I don't want any one to disturbe me, let me alone. Who doesn't want a cape makes us transparent. It is definitely better than a smiling mask.

zz loves Liu bolin's photo--the invisible man
Liu, a 38 year old Chinese artist born in Shan Dong province, studied sculpture in his early life but attracts the world’s attention because of his hidden citizen traveling around the world.
He might do it for his political stand, as lots of Chinese contemporary artists. But these images, for zz, it’s a reclusion in the noisy world. Don’t touch me, I am not existed.

Coastline, zz's memory
Have found some picture from photographer Zhao Xiao, the latest HSBC price winner, zz thinks about her childhood in the coastline.
The image Coastline No.14 reminds it somewhere in Shenzhen, once an economic symbol in China. ZZ used to take a walk with its family in one place near the coast. There was a big boat, on the water. Don't know from when, the boat got more and more close to the coastline, and finally, not on the water anymore. In zz's memory, one afternoon, it went to catch little crabs near the water then went on the boat, which was a little museum. zz might be wrong, since it was long time ago. But now, the boat is a fancy hub of restaurant and go-out spot.
The world is changing, we seems can change all. Standing on the shoulder of giant, we can fly, we can remove the mountain to create more land, we can put the boat on the ocean, and certainly, we can move the boat from the sea to the end... But the image in the memory is hard to be erased; even it is so pale, powerless.
Another image Coastline No.2, zz should love those colorful floating buoy, mixed with cheerful faces, where else can we see this image?! zz has been there, where captured its a happy childhood. We enjoy the sea, naively, don't need to think about if it is crowded or if there is someone flying over our head. However, zz just can't hold a simple joyful mind when looking at this photo. zz might be brain washed these years by a quite European city. Or because people in this image turn their back to it, in the immense, among the crowded, they look so tiny and so lonely.
They are the reality, they discover a reality, or it is creating something?

zz’s curiosity never stop, so hope zz won’t anchor its sailing boat for too long...
Allez, c’est parti!
